پس از اینکه اتهامات درباره رشوت های جنسی در ارگ ریاست جمهوری باردیگر مطرح شد؛ ارگ ریاست جمهوری اعلام کرده است که نهادهای عدلی و قضایی مسوولیت بزرگی در قبال رسیدگی به این اتهامات دارد.
صدیق صدیقی سخنگوی ریاست جمهوری روز دوشنبه، 24 سرطان در کنفرانس خبری تاکید کرد که حکومت اجازه نمی دهد پیشرفت و حضور زنان در عرصه های مختلف صدمه ببینند.
به گفته صدیقی، حکومت افغانستان این قضایا را به شکل جدی بررسی می کند.
با این حال سخنگوی ریاست جمهوری گفته که ممکن است طرح این اتهامات جنبه سیاسی داشته باشد چرا که به گفته او، انتخابات ریاست جمهوری پیش روی است و مسایل سیاسی زیادی مطرح می شوند.
سخنگوی ریاست جمهوری افغانستان با اشاره به حضور زنان در سطح وزارت‌ها، معینیت‌ها و ریاست‌ها گفت:”نشود به این قضیه‌ها به گونه‌ای پرداخته شود که بیشتر سیاسی باشد و این پیشرفت بزرگ را که ما در پنج سال گذشته داشتیم، صدمه بزند. ”
