شرکت تویوتا اولین موتری تولیدی مدل سوپرا ۲۰۲۰ خود موسوم به ای ۹۰ را در جریان برگزاری یک حراجی در ایالت آریزونای امریکا به قیمت سرسام آور ۲.۱ میلیون دالر فروخت.

به نقل از موتور ۱، معمولا مجموعه داران ثروتمند و علاقمندان به موترهای جدید با حضور در این حراجی ها، مدل های جدید خودروهای محبوب را با قیمت های سرسام آوری خریداری می‌کنند.

پیش از این مدل جدید موترهای فورد موستانگ شلبی جی تی ۵۰۰ نیز در حراج بارت – جکسون به قیمت ۱.۱ میلیون دالر فروخته شده بود.

موتر یادشده از نظر رنگ آمیزی نیز منحصر به فرد است و اگر چه رنگ غالب آن خاکستری است، اما برای تزئین آینه های آن از رنگ سرخ استفاده شده است.

قاب موتور این خودرو هم توسط «آکیو تویودا» مدیرعامل شرکت تویوتا امضا شده است. خریدار این خودرو برخی خدمات ویژه پس از فروش نیز دریافت کرده است.

موتر یادشده دارای موتور توربوی ۳ لیتری با قدرت ۳۳۵ اسب بخار است و شتاب صفر تا صد آن به ۴.۳ ثانیه می رسد. یک نمایشگر نسبتا بزرگ ۸.۸ اینچی نیز به منظور دسترسی به امکانات تفریحی و نقشه و غیره در این موتر نصب شده است. اطلاعات بیشتر این موتر در زمان آغاز فروش عمومی آن اعلام می شود.
